As I prepare to meet my girlfriends to run in a 100 km urban trail relay tomorrow I am contemplating the words of Bill Squires:

100 km, wow. Fantastic. Would love to hear how it went.
Sadly our entire team did not show up but our team captain and I decided to run anyway. We were to each run 25km so rather than relay we ran together. It was a fun way to spend time together. We beat the ran, and we beat our anticipated time goal!
