I’m re-posting a photo that was taken at Durand Glacier, British Columbia, a number of years ago and I hope it will bring a smile to your face despite all the swirling uncertainty.

Perhaps we can use this time of social distancing and social isolation to regain an appreciation not just for each other, but for our beautiful earth as well.

Sien Lok Park
The name means “happiness comes through good works.” The Sien Lok Society of Calgary was formed in 1968. In cooperation with the community they preserved and developed Chinatown’s only green space. The park reflects the vision of all Canadian Chinese and their ancestral heritage.

Another spring snowfall. I saw these two resting beside the path where I ran this morning. I feel like curling up and tucking in like them only with a good book!
