    This was a lot of fun! Fears of heights were conquered by rappelling 60m, and squeezing through tight spaces challenged claustrophobia type of feelings. It’s amazing how the cave is completely dark but in various caverns the calcite formations are incredibly stunning when light is shone on them. Also, the deep under-the-earth pool was an unexpected peaceful and serene surprise 🙂

    Loved the image of pack rats emerging muddy! Sounds like an awesome experience, Mary! Bravo on facing some fears in order to have this otherworldly experience. 🙂
