The Hobo

Shopping cart warehouse
lifetime memory keeper
curio intrigue

What stories lie low
hoping one day to be told
tattered threads unwound

Mosaic presented
outward for the world to see
inward secrets kept

Bearded face betrayed
wary eyes danger ready
shadow escape plan

Human touch craving
yet not knowing how to act
off in his own world

This is so good, Mary! I think you have captured the homeless person quite well and with touching compassion. Wonderful!
